What Does The Warranty Cover?
Cooper & Co. warranties apply to all products installed across Australia by our accredited CEC installers, and licensed electricians. All systems must be installed in accordance with the terms and conditions set out in our installation manuals and guidelines which are supplied with the purchase of all products.
If any of our products fails to be of acceptable quality, Cooper and Co. will repair the defective products either: onsite by our licensed technician or suitably qualified technician; or offsite at an authorised repair facility. If any components are replaced under warranty, they will receive the benefit of the remaining warranty period from the original date of installation.
As part of our service to our customers; our team guarantees to monitor each and every solar system we install by including a 24/7 back to base digital smart meter (valued over $250) – FREE!
If I move house can I take my Solar PV System with me?
It is important to note that the 10 to 25 year warranty applies to the system at the location where it has been installed. If a Solar PV System is removed from the original installation site and re-installed at another location, it is no longer covered under the original manufacturers warranty.
However, the warranty is transferable to a new owner provided the Solar PV System remains installed at the original location. This means, if you sell your property with a any of our Solar PV Systems installed, the new owners of the property will continue to enjoy the benefit of the remaining warranty protection from the original date of purchase until its expiry. In order to receive this protection and to keep the warranty valid, the new owner of the property must register as the new owner of the system by contacting the brand/manufacturer.
